About the author
Taryn Hubbard is a writer of poetry and fiction. She is the author of the poetry collection, Desire Path, (Talonbooks, 2020) and the novel, The Very Good Best Friend, (Now or Never, 2025). Her second collection, Beautiful Unknown Future, was published spring 2026. She is currently editing her next novel and working away on new poems. She lives in British Columbia, Canada where she is currently serving as the inaugural Poet Laureate for the Chilliwack Arts Council.
